On behalf of the Moroccan Interventional Radiology Society MIRS (Société Marocaine de Radiologie Interventionnelle SMRI) and its Interventional Neuroradiology Section MIRS Neuro ( SMRI Neuro), we are pleased to welcome you to the 1 ^st Multidisciplinary Conference on Acute Ischemic Stroke: Current Status, Challenges and Prospects, which will be held on October 18th – 19th 2024 , at the Fairmont Hotel Marina Rabat Sale, in Morocco.

We are honored and delighted to announce that our scientific event is endorsed by the World Stroke Organization WSO, the Middle East North Africa Stroke and Interventional Neurotherapies Organization MENA-SINO, the Moroccan Society of Neuro-Vascular Diseases SMMNV, and the Moroccan Society of Anesthesia, Analgesia and Critical Care SMAAR.

The 1 ^st Multidisciplinary Conference on Acute Ischemic Stroke includes an entire dedicated program, led by national and international expertise in the field, with high-level scientific presentations, updates on the latest studies, and hands-on workshops.

This Conference will bring together all the players involved in the management of Ischemic Stroke, and will offer an exceptional platform allowing medical professionals in the disciplines of neurology, radiology, interventional neuroradiology, neuro-anesthesia and intensive care, and related disciplines, to come together, share their knowledge and experiences, discuss the challenges and future prospects to optimise the management of Acute Stroke and improve Stroke treatment coverage in Morocco.
